FAQ

What committees usually ask.

Do you sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)? +

Yes — standard practice from the exploration stage. We accept the client's template or provide ours. We never publish client names or project details without express authorization.

Who owns the intellectual property of developed software? +

The client. Source code, documentation and deliverables are fully owned by the contracting party, with formal transfer at project close.

How do foreign-trade payments operate? +

Under a specific, documented mandate agreement per transaction. FX execution happens exclusively through authorized foreign-exchange market intermediaries (IMCs). DISTYG does not take deposits from the public or manage portfolios.

Do you custody digital assets or operate exchanges? +

No. Digital-asset services are advisory only: technical due diligence, recommended architecture and risk-framework adaptation. Custody and operation always remain with the client or regulated providers of their choice.

Can you contract with public entities? +

Yes. DISTYG SAS is a Colombian company with an active commercial registration in Barranquilla, able to participate in procurement processes per each entity's requirements.

How do you invoice and in which currency? +

Electronic invoicing in Colombian pesos under DIAN regulation. For engagements with an international component, terms are agreed in the contract in compliance with the exchange regime.

What happens to documentation if we terminate the contract? +

All documentation produced up to the termination date is handed to the client. Our principle: no deliverable should depend on DISTYG to be used or audited.
